Once Napoleon Bonaparte said, “Give me an educated mother, I shall promise you the birth of a civilized, educated nation.”

Child’s First School

Lap of mother is the child’s first school. From their he or she starts its process of learning. If a mother is well-educated and civilized she can turn her children into civilized man of society.

Mother is also the first teacher of her child, so whatever she teaches to her children it is integrate into the subconscious of child. If mother teaches to be polite, humble, courageous later on the child will have these qualities as he or she was taught about them.

Children learns a lot from observation. Not only through teaching them but a mother also have to act and behave in way she wants to groom her children to be in future.

As An Inspiration, Motivation

“Behind every successful man there is a woman called mother.” The struggle a mother does for her children sets an example for them. During the rough and tough time a mother encourages and motivates her child to keep moving and to never give up. Thomas Edison was home-schooled by her mother when he was dropped out of school.

Here i want to share experience of my friend who was demotivated to complete the task which was given to him for selection of internship. Her mother motivated him and said that he can do it and he finally did it. Now he is selected for internship.

Nation-Building

A motivational speaker Qasim Ali Shah during his workshop told that if he had two choices, one to educate two sons and second to educate one daughter. He said he will choose the second one because if you teach one daughter you are teaching one family. That daughter you taught once will have become a mother one day and she will have to raise a generation. So from above mentioned point we can conclude that women particularly mothers play a vital role in nation-building.

Conclusion

Summing up all above discussed facts and figures we can say that if a mother is able to groom her children in civilized way, great nations will form. Its essential to understand role of mother that she plays to form society. In other words of South African political activist Olive Schreiner, “There was never a great man who had not a great mother.”
